Shuttleless weaving technology: Investing for profits

摘要

Weaving is an important value addition stage in textiles. Advances in knitting and Non-woven technologies are challenging off-late weaving technology. The healthy competition is bringing forth technologically superior and versatile shuttle less weaving machines, which are endowed with speed, quick change and possibility of mass customization, capable of weaving the 'hottest' products in textiles - "Technical & Smart textiles". This paper discus the salient features of shuttle less weaving machines taking into consideration their versatility vis-a-vis cost factors.
