Its Springtime! After hibernating over the winter, bees awaken in time to collect pollen and nectar from their preferred plants. It's also normally the time for tourism industry to kick start and reach its peak by summers. However, owing to the conditions as they are, tourism industry is already staring at a dry season. Travel trade organizations warn of street protests if officials fail to take immediate measures to revive tourism sector which was hit the hardest by Covid-19 last year. Not to be bogged down, the quintessential travellers are opting for the new defined staycation or nearcation. Staycation in its formal definition means; a holiday spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions. In the context of the lockdown a new wave of first-time campers are pitching with portable firepits and comfy airbeds as camping enjoys a revival in tandem with the staycation boom. Retailers say that shoppers have been snapping up tents, sleeping bags and cooking equipment, with many camping staples selling out. However, sleeping under the stars is magical, as long as the sleeping bag is comfy and warm.
