Postage Rates Are Going Up In 2012

On January 22 it will cost one penny more to mail letters to any location in the United States. The Postal Service recently filed a request to the Postal Regulatory Commission for an inflation-adjusted rate increase. First-Class letters and Forever Stamps will cost 45 cents. This is the first price change for First-Class Mail in more than two and a half years.
