14 States Seek Clean Power Plan Guidance Despite Stay

Fourteen states are asking the U.S. Environmental ProtectionAgency (EPA) for assistance as they prepare to comply withthe Clean Power Plan despite the rule being stayed by theU.S. Supreme Court.“We recognize that the EPA must respect the stay of the CleanPower Plan regulations in providing additional informationand that this information would be subject to the outcome ofthe federal Clean Power Plan litigation,” the 14 states said ina letter sent to Janet McCabe, EPA’s acting assistant administratorfor air and radiation.
