Unep Chief Calls On United States To Lead Global 'green Economy' Effort

The United States must act globally, partly in self-interest, for the world to climb out of its current economic hole and build a multinational green economy with good jobs, Achim Steiner, United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) Executive Director, said Feb. 4 during a conference on stimulating the U.S. economy.
