I remember when I was 13 and IBM had introduced the IBM PCjr with a wireless keyboard that used infrared technology. It was a great idea at that time, although infrared did have some drawbacks. Nowadays, the art of connecting things is becoming more and more complex every day. I sometimes feel as if I need a Ph.D. in electrical engineering just to set up the electronics in my home. Now there is a completely different way to form connections. It's called Bluetooth. Bluetooth is wireless and automatic, and has a number of interesting features that can simplify our daily lives. With Bluetooth, you can create your own Personal Area Network (PAN). You can have a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to do work or play games on your Mac, or maybe a Bluetooth headset to listen to music on your iPod.
