摘要

Oftentimes, when you experience an event, there are things that stand out about that event. This may be even though the entire event seemed exceptional, there's some sub-event that made the whole event worth it. One of those events happened for me at MacTech Conference 2010, our very first. The Conference itself was really a great time—a bit surreal in some aspects, bringing together an amazing group of people from around the world. Many I knew before the Conference took place, and many I met for the first time. Of all the people I met the first time, one stands out: Peter Hosey. Peter is a developer on both the well-known Growl and Adium projects. It's easy to let a label—in this case, "developer"—trip you up in a way that lets you make assumptions about a person. It was so special meeting Peter because it was evident that he's always stretching himself with new activities.
