摘要

As a long-time observer of Apple-since before the Macintosh even existed...yes, that long-it strikes me that we, both Apple and their customers, are in an odd place. Many tech companies don't get to have the longevity of Apple. However, here we are: a large number of customers are like myself: been around a very long time, strong memory of the, 'good/bad old days', being in the vast minority of computer users, and having to defend the Mac as something more than, "just a toy." On the other hand, the vast majority of customers came to Apple not only long after the Macintosh was released, but have only used OS X (and never saw "Classic" Mac OS). That's if these customers are even Mac users. Many are solely iPhone and iPad customers. This is a great divide.
