Recovery of raw materials: GAW ultrafiltration system for coating liquid recycling

During the treatment and processing of raw materials for sophisticated industrial applications, residual pollutants and toxins naturally occur which can pass into the air, water and soil. GAW is well aware of its responsibility to maintain an intact environment and is thus constantly concerned with the development of process technologies designed to reduce industrial effluent and emissions. In environmental engineering, membrane processes are becoming increasingly important with respect to cleaning waslewater. The GAW ultrafiltration system was originally developed for the paper and cardboard industry with a special emphasis on the coating process applied in paper production.
