Chevy introduced it in 1958 as the top-of-the-line model and although we've seen many changes occur in its evolution, one thing has always remained consistent - style. For those of you who have continued to be loyal fans of the magazine and the Chevrolet brand, we're going to give you a peek at this 2014 Impala 2LTZ and some of the things to look forward to as we give it some additional lowrider flair. Over the years we've seen many automakers introduce models that eventually faded into history and even some attempts to bring back a few in the hopes that they'd somehow catch on again, Case in point, the Ford Thunderbird that was brought back from 2002-2005 - a short run that didn't find the audience the company was anticipating. So what's the secret formula to make something last? While there are really too many elements involved in that equation to spell out, we know the cream always rises to the top, With its combination of dynamic performance, innovative design, and brute American power, the Impala has stayed with us longer than most because it hasn't cut corners to give car buyers what they want and deserve.
