Use a Data Binding Architecture with XML and JavaScript to Display Lotus Domino Data

Data binding is a connection of a Data Source Object (DSO) to any HTML element that supports the extended data binding attributes. The role of a DSO is to transfer data from the server side to the client side, whereas the role of the HTML element is to represent it. A number of objects can transfer data: XML, ActiveX, or APPLET. Table 1 shows the HTML elements that support data binding.
