State of Materials Handling in Manufacturing, Warehousing and Distribution

In this keynote session, Modern Materials Handling's (MMH) editorial director Gary Forger sat down with Aberdeen Group's Chris Jones to talk about the state of materials handling in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution. In particular, they discussed the results of a new MMH survey and how companies can put those trends to work in their own operations. Comprised of about 50 questions and netted over 1,000 responses, the MMH survey focused on practices, metrics, issues, and buying trends, according to Forger. The survey zeroed in on exactly what materials handling issues are most important to today's firms, and what will be important over the next two to ten years.
