The Bills Are Due

There was a time in the not-so-dis-tant past that energy-related bills were non-existent. As we know, nature abhors a vacuum, so now we have a plethora of bills related to building energy efficiency, energy standards/codes and/or sustainable energy. This month's "Policy Points" concentrates on a list of current legislative activity in these areas. I'll provide periodic updates for those bills whose status has changed in some meaningful way. As of the writing of this column (mid-September), most of these are sitting in committee.
