Tucson dedicates first United Streetcar tram; opening due in mid-2014

With the infrastructure for its USD197m, 6.25km (3.9-mile), Sun Link modern tramway linking the city centre and University of Arizona complete, the city of Tucson welcomed its first double-ended type 200 tram from United Streetcar LLC on 30 August after a five-day journey across the US. The first tram was originally supposed to be delivered in February.
