Getting the most buzz for the buck makes it important that you understand the entire ignition system, and more people own a vibrator than you'd ever think. We've lost you already, you say? Back up a minute. Try to remember that rental plane you got checked out in one day that the manual proudly said it had a "shower of sparks" ignition system. At the heart of the shower-of-sparks system is the starting vibrator.
