Conference report, consumer electronic show, Las Vegas, Part 2

Because the exhibit area was so extensive with over 4,500 exhibits, I felt the need for a part 2 of my report in the 2020 consumer electronics show (CES). there were many products that caught my eye that have potential applications for libraries from the thousands of products on exhibit. This is not an extensive list; these are just from the booths I was able to visit. Many of these products are already available in the marketplace, and others are prototypes in development. Kickstarter and Indiegogo are crowdfunding sites that help developers to get their prototypes to market. Many of these products can help libraries in outreach efforts, makerspaces, teamwork and most of all, demonstrate how your library is at the forefront of the use of new technologies Eureka Park at the Sands Convention Center included more than 1,200 exhibitors with several aisles devoted to university innovations (see more about university innovation in Part 1 of this conference report). Eureka Park also included several product areas from various countries including Belgium, Canada, France, Great Britain, Netherlands, India, Israel, Singapore and South Korea.
