American Library Association Mid-Winter Conference, San Diego, California

摘要

The American Library Association (ALA) Annual Mid-Winter Conference took place in beautiful, sunny and balmy Southern California, in downtown San Diego January 9-13, 2004. Excellent attendance followed the holiday season as most of east coast and mid-western America experienced record breaking cold temperatures with lots of snow. This conference is traditionally void of programs but is instead considered a working meeting that is charged to make final plans for the coming annual conference which will take place June 24-30, 2004 in Orlando, Florida and to highlight committee work, collaborations between ALA divisions and sections and to promote candidates who are running for ALA elections.
