Future now: operation agility - conference report on the SLA Leadership Summit

I recently attended my first Leadership Summit, a two-day intense but worthwhile exercise for new chapter and division officers of the Special Libraries Association (SLA). As a Chapter President 1 was afforded this paid opportunity to meet other chapter leaders and share information while learning to be a more effective leader. After I arrived in Atlanta on January 25, 2012 and checked into my hotel, I met other librarians at a previously planned "dine-around". Nine of us, including several New Jersey librarians I already knew, enjoyed a great meal at a local Italian restaurant before returning to the hotel.
