Current CITE-ings from the popular and trade computing press: focusing on IT management and innovation

This month's column focuses on management and innovation in IT and libraries have much to learn from industry. There are still major gender divides, new ways to consider career paths, improving efficiencies and fostering a climate of innovation. Windows 8 is getting into the press as it attempts to bring together similar interfaces for computer and mobile devices. Time will tell if this strategy pays off.
