I was intrigued to learn in Hong Kong that a rival magazine had described Leather as a 'gossip magazine'. So I thought I would pander to their wishful thinking and give you a gossip column from the APLF in Hong Kong. A drum roll, a dragon and a dawning of hope heralded the opening of the Asia Pacific Leather Fair. 99.9% of the people we spoke to were convinced that attendance was up - there are always a few doubters - and it was lovely to see smiling faces and a degree of optimism creeping in.
