E-commerce trading for the leather industry

Raw material, semi and finished leather, machinery, chemicals and finished products could soon be traded on the internet if LeatherXchange.com have their way. Launched originally at the Panamerican Leather Fair, Miami, in January LeatherX-change.com announced the latest plans for their trading concept at the APLF in April. The company, which was set up in 1999 by Jose Suarez, want to be the leather industry's definitive internet trading site from the slaughterhouse through to finished products such as shoes or leathergoods.
