Colour or the absence of colour

The trends presented cover the autumn and winter season for 2003-2004. As stated, non-colours predominated in the Tangible section with neutral shades varying from ivory white down to black through an array of browns to bronze and on to a wintery selection of blues and greys. Intangible colours provided light shades from paintings by Morandi, transparencies from Magritte and warm mellow hues from the posters of the 40s. The colour range begins with blue, turns to warm orangey shades or light transparent and somewhat powdery tones.
