Reef introduces 'LITE'- certified leather shoes

Fashion house Reef is bolstering its image as an ecological trendsetter in its field: The American company recently launched shoes certified with the LITE label ("Low Impact to Environment") on the market. Only products that are made with especially low energy and water consumption are awarded the LITE label. LITE leather is produced by German tannery ISA TanTec, which has manufacturing facilities in China and Vietnam. Numerous well-known shoe manufacturers use ISA TanTec eco-leather, but without using the LITE label to mark them as especially eco-friendly.
