Increase in profits for French tanners and dressers

Despite lower volumes of manufacturing in the first half of 2013, French tanners and dressers displayed record sales over the period up by 41.5% compared to the first half of 2012. During the first half of 2013 French tanners and dressers produced 1,155 tons of cattle hides and 2.1 million sheepskins which represent a respective decrease of 11% and 5%.
