The Leadership Quarterly Yearly Review for 2014: Advances in Traditional Leadership Theory and Research Part Ⅱ

The Yearly Review issue of The leadership Quarterly was begun in 2000 by James G. Hunt, and it has become a widely anticipated issue that has contained numerous articles that have contributed to LQ's high profile and prestige among leadership scholars and practitioners. With this issue, the 2014 Yearly Review, it is hoped that this tradition has been continued and that the articles contained herein help further advance our understanding of leadership phenomena, both scientifically and from a practical and applied point-of-view. As a continuation of last year's Yearly Review, this year's issue has as its theme articles that further advance our understanding of more traditional leadership theories and approaches. As in earlier Yearly Review's, the authors have been encouraged to be reader-friendly in their writing style and to produce works that are of value to both scientists and practitioners, from those in the beginning or novice stage to highly advanced and knowledgeable experts in the field.
