FINDING THE GOLD HIDDEN IN YOUR COMPANY

I am starting off with an assumption-your company is an excellent one. At the very least, you probably have plenty of people who share your belief that it is. But don't let that belief lull you into a false sense of security or complacency. Even excellent companies have a huge opportunity for improvement. In fact, that opportunity exists in every company, no matter its size, its industry, and whether it has previously undertaken major improvement initiatives. In the last 20 years of working with companies to make them less complex, more efficient, and more profitable, I have yet to find a company where the employees do not have significant, constructive ideas for change.
