A Proposal for Improving the Current Transformers Accuracy

The paper presents a proposal for improving the current transformers accuracy. The circuit model reported to the secondary, the fasorial diagram and the mathematical formulation lead us to identify that the problem happens because of the excitation current. The research then works to reduce the voltage drops on the secondary circuit by producing this voltage through a control circuit with analog circuits, and this way to reduce the ratio and angle errors.
