TSTT takes steps to discontinue 1800MHz services

Telecommunications Services of Trinidad & Tobago (TSTT) says that its remaining customers using mobile phones which only operate in the 1800MHz frequency band will be required to upgrade their handsets as it prepares to deactivate that component of its mobile network. The company said it is required to relinquish this specific frequency to the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad & obago.
