Tigo tops Paraguay fixed network speed ranking with 16 Mbps

Tigo (Millicom) posted the fastest fixed internet download speeds in Paraguay between January and December 2018, according to over 43,000 tests conducted by nPerf. The operator achieved an average download speed of 16.40 Mbps, well ahead of the only other fixed line operator included in the survey - state-owned Copaco - with 6.62 Mbps. However, Copaco ranked first in the latency (68 ms) and upload (5.3 Mbps) tests conducted. Nperf said Personal Paraguay wasn't included in the report due to the lack of a sufficient number of speed tests run by its users.
