Telefonica Ecuador's MVNO Tuenti has reached 800,000 customers in the country and is targeting the 1-million customer milestone by the end of the year, reports local daily Expreso. In an interview to mark the brand's 4th anniversary, Tuenti Ecuador's marketing manager Edgar Pinos said his company now accounts for around 7 percent of the local mobile telephony market, having grown steadily thanks to a data-led focus on 15 to 24 year-olds.
