Brazil launches public consultation for satellite exploitation fees

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has launched a public consultation on the revision of the regulation of public price collection for the rights to operate telecom services via satellite. The consultation will last 30 days. One of the proposals is the possibility of payment in cash or in equal annual installments. The maximum number of installments cannot exceed the term in years of the right of use and the value of the installments cannot be less than BRL 500.
