In the post-soviet era, the now independent states in Eastern Europe and Central Asia are gradually developing their own economies with the help of substantial support from the international financial institutions. A substantial part of that support is being provided for the development of transport infrastructure and logistics. In the case of the Port of Turkmenbashi, NEDECO Group company HASKONING Consulting Engineers is working on both technical renovation and management support.
