At the date of publication of this issue a number of venues are being considered for the 10th International Congress of Cybernetics and Systems of the World Organisation (WOSC). It is believed, however, that arrangements will be made for the triennial congress to be held in Bucharest, Romania, 26-31 August 1996. An invitation to hold the congress in Romania has been received from the Ecological University of Bucharest. The director-general of WOSC, Professor Robert Vallee, is expected to issue an announcement about the forthcoming congress. Further details, a full "Call for papers", and announcements concerning the congress sessions and activities will be published in this journal, the official publication of WOSC.
