Invista used its Lycra Fibre Moves International Forum in Barcelona to highlight opportunities in the legwear market for its newest offerings, Lycra Beauty Hosiery and Lycra Xceptionelle Hosiery. Attended by 300 textile professionals from 25 countries, the event aimed to discuss the most pressing needs of consumers. Building on the launch of the Lycra Beauty Fabric for intimate apparel and swimwear, the Beauty Hosiery and seamless garments were developed to bridge the gap between comfort and achieving a flattering waisdine. "Lycra Beauty Hosiery and seamless garments were designed as a new generation of shapewear because of these evolving market dynamics," said Pierluigi Berardi, Invista global segment director for legwear. "These will address the gap in consumer needs and expectations by offering hosiery that shapes whilst being comfortable, and is tested according to scientifically-determined metrics."
