Margins have moved along the apparel supply chain from production territories and processes towards distribution in the last decade, but intelligent business logistics involving manufacturing and distribution, as well as balanced margin structures, are set to become of increasing relevance. That is the view of Alexander Hofstadler of Linz Textil, Austria, who spoke at the recent International Textile Manufacturers Federation conference held in that country.
