SASA invests US$70m in fibre production plant

Virgin polyester staple fibre producer SASA is aiming to strengthen its presence within the industry by investing US$70m in its fibre production plant in Adana, Turkey. The investment is the first major movement of Erdemoglu Holding, which acquired all of Sabanci Holding's SASA shares in May 2015. By providing the investment, the majority shareholder is aiming to increase the company's capacity of staple fibre production.
