摘要

Nonlinear stress-strain behavior of unidirectional carbon fiber-reinforced composite AS4/PEEK under vedous off-axis loading conditions at room temperature (RT) and l00deg.C was examined with particular emphases on the rate and loading-mode dependence of the response. To predict the off- axis rate--dependent nonlinear stress-strain behavior of unidirectional AS4/PEEK, a simple micromechanics model was developed using the method of cells proposed by Aboudi and the viscoplastic constitutive model by Chaboche. Validity of this model was evaluated on the basis of the primitive calculations for the present experimental results.
