摘要

In this paper, the QSI test was conducted on composite laminates toughened by three kinds of rigid particle(silicon dioxide, polyimide and glass bead) according to ASTM D 6264-98. The effects of particle category and size on QSI damage resistance and mechanical properties (tension and three-point bending ) were studied. The experimental results indicated that the means of rigid particle interlayer toughening could improve QSI damage resistance and had influence on ultimate tensile strength and flexural strength.
