The second edition of Stephen Tromans' book entitled Nuclear Law (The Law Applying to Nuclear Installations and Radioactive Substance in its Historic Context) was released in March 2010 by Hart Publishing. It is a much expanded version of the 1997 'Law of Nuclear Installations and Radioactive Substances', which the author published with James Fitzgerald. As there are only a few comprehensive publications having the ambition to deal widely with all major legal aspects of the industrial use of nuclear energy, Tromans' most recent work certainly deserves the attention of legal practitioners from both private and public sectors involved in the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
