Edward Hussey, His Patern Book 1787 An Eighteenth Century Manuscript Weaving Book

In 1987 I was given a photographed copy of an old manuscript book which had been preserved through generations of my husband's family. The book was written by Edward Hussey, my husband's great-great-great grandfather, who was a weaver in North Wales. The book was made from single sheets of paper sewn together at the hinge. Some of the pages were tattered at the edges and there was a certain amount of water damage causing some of the pages to be almost illegible. As a weaver I was very interested and turned the pages with eager anticipation. The first page had a weave diagram with an indication below it of a threading draft and the words 'I Trade as I Draw to make this Pattern No 1'.
