In the past few months I have discovered sock knitting, so having this book to review has been a real bonus! The book is well set out with beautiful photographs. An introduction to sock design covers sizing, fit, yarn and gauge. Separate sections for cuff-down and toe-up sock construction have a choice of designs from a selection of designers. Some projects are challenging but the book has something for everyone at every level of sock knitting. Patterns are nicely laid out and each project has an introduction by the designer of how the particular design came into being.
