Staged in an excellent light and airy space, the advantage of a steady stream of the general public on their way into the Cathedral added to the numbers of those of us who had come specially to see the exhibition. The items chosen were a fairly equal mix of weaving, spinning and dyeing, and several covered more than one discipline. There were textured pieces that used either high-twist yarn or Lycra to give a collapsed effect, as in Wendy Morris's (London) Rapids Swirl which I could quite happily have taken home with me.
