Since impulsively acquiring a rigid heddle loom, I have felt the need for something that would inspire me beyond the 'sew together two squares of fabric' garments often offered. This attractively produced little book could be part of the answer. A brief introduction gives a few basic tips on weaving, pre-washing finished yardage before cutting, and advises using a commercial paper pattern and stabilising cut edges. It then goes straight into the 11 projects, which offer a fair range of women's styles, mainly for a 20 inch loom. Yarns used are interestingly varied; pick-up stick, and spaced and crammed techniques are included.
