Woven and Drawn: An Exhibition of Drawings and Woven Sculpture

A very special exhibition of drawings and woven sculpture by Sue Hiley Harris entitled Woven and Drawn was held this year at the Cynon Valley Museum and Gallery in Aberdare. A clear connection ran through this fascinating exhibition; the drawings, woven sculpture and woven body jewellery all displayed continuous lines whether in charcoal, metal wire or paper yarn. The drawings' immediacy and speed of execution juxtaposed with the slower process of weaving.
