Braid Society 25th Anniversary Exhibition

The compact gallery at the Gateway Centre was an excellent venue for this exhibition, well-lit and with room for wall and ceiling-hung pieces as well as showcases for small free-standing items. A delicate takadai-woven hanging by Jennie Parry, Bubbling Water, consisting of five braids woven in triaxial leno in paper and monofilament, hung in a bay window and was visible to people approaching the entrance to the venue.
