Interview with Naomi Robertson, Tapestry Studio Manager and Master Weaver, Dovecot Studios

Tell us about your role at Dovecot and how you became a tapestry weaver.My role involves managing the weaving and tufting team (seven weavers, including one apprentice weaver), identifying contemporary artists that the Studio would like to work with, client and artistic liaisons, managing the tapestry projects, training our apprentice and of course my first love - weaving!I joined Dovecot Studios in 1990 after completing my degree in Tapestry at Edinburgh College of Art. Over the span of my career at Dovecot Studios I have worked on over 65 tapestries with many world-famous artists.
