A Case Study on How To Recognize The Community And Human Relations In The Context Of The Elderlys Rural Life Aspects of 'Chien' in the elderly's life

摘要

The purpose of this study is to know how the elderlys recognize the community and human relations in the context of their daily life. We define such relations between the elderly and the community as a term "CHIEN". For this purpose, a questionnaire survey and an interview survey were conducted in an area in Tohoku region. Qualitative analysis of the elderly's life conditions from viewpoint of "CHIEN" showed the structure of the elderly's life in the community. That is relationships among the elderly's life need, behavior and their living environment which supports their daily life.
