摘要

This study aims at showing that the hypothesis recently suggested by the researchers of children's image drawings are applicable to adults' more complex architectural drawings; that is, improvement of the skills for making drawing cannot be achieved without obtaining appropriate strategies for planning and controlling drawing sequences. In this paper, the authors carefully analyze the drawing sequences of the 21 novice subjects on their ways of designing their own houses and argue whether their strategies of organizing drawing sequences are limited or not.
