Discussion of 'Pollution Source Identification of Accidental Contamination in Water Distribution Networks' by Cristiana Di Cristo and Angelo Leopardi

The accidental, intentional, or negligent contamination in water distribution networks is a potential threat to water distribution networks. The authors have presented a novel and straightforward approach to identify the sources of any such pollution in a water distribution network. The discusser appreciates the effort of the authors to present improved identification methodology by identifying monitoring locations for source identification. This is a noteworthy contribution. The discusser would like to point out a few related matters that the authors could have discussed for better readability and/or widening the scope of the paper.
