REMOVAL OF HEAVY METALS FROM WASTE WATERS BY THE COMPLEXATION/ULTRAFILTRATION METHOD

摘要

Study of processes occurring in the membrane separation of solutions containing ions of heavy metals (Cr(Ⅵ), Ni(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ), Cd(Ⅱ), and Pb(Ⅱ)) by the complexation/ultrafiltration method demonstrated that this procedure can be successfully employed for the purification of waters generated by treatment of municipal sewage sludges for their subsequent use in agriculture as fertilizers.
